im stuck on this bit in the plant place
i just did this thing in this elevator shaft where the lift falls down and stuff and eventually unlocked this door, but when i go through theres a dead end, i found the terminal and activated it, but it didnt seem to do anything and the room still has no exits and stuff

Oh, I had trouble with this room too. At the far end by the super missile hatch there should be a small crack in the wall that isn't affected by the hologram. Morphball jump up and use a normal bomb to blow it open.

Hope that's the room you were talking about.

Oh yeah i had trouble with that part too

I asked for help on it a few pages back but then I figured it out.
