I'm sure you guys have seen Katie's working on a new comic outside of Awkward Zombie, but in case you haven't, Here it is.

While it's only a few pages in, I must say, I'm incredibly impressed with how polished this looks, especially the first two pages.

There's sadly not much to discuss on it thus far, but might as well make a thread for it.

It's pretty neat, but I'm so used to Katie as a comedy artist I expect a terrible punchline at the end.

oh god Mander, I was thinking the same thing.

It's a very nice surprise though if she's trying to take a more serious direction with her art.

But man I feel bad I was all "Where's the punchline?" when I finished the third page.

It seems like more of a story introducing the world of this new game universe.

Its not supposed to be funny. Although it could be later once some of the base story is layed out.

PS: Does this count as Katie drawing original characters?

I have associated her art style with humor too much

GOSH I HOPE YOU GUYS ARE LIKING IT

It has been a pretty good chance to Try New Things, and serious business comics are definitely not something I am used to doing.
I'm also just the artist on the project; the people behind the website and game itself are from Madsoft. They're sending me the scripts and stuff.

I personally wouldn't have any problem with edits and I doubt they would either. I think they are excellent.
