It might be a good thing to dissolve 'Sonic Team' - maybe they mistakenly felt the need to include Sonic in almost everything they developed.

What I mean by that is - why did Sonic even need to be involved in that 'werehog' game - surely they could've developed a fresh character within a 'werewolf' game concept and could've potentially produced a better game because it wasn't weighed down by all the Sonic backhistory baggage.

They seem to have been thinking that plastering Sonic's name on everything they create will be a sure-fire way of selling it.

All they've done in reality is softly kill a once proud gaming icon.

Sonic 2 and Sonic CD will always be 2 of the best games I ever played. No amount of selling-out will change that.
