99% of the people that play TF2 have never experienced the awesomeness of TFC. That's why they think TF2 is good, but it's not good. The only good things to come from TF2 are the silly comics about them because the graphics of TF2 match the atmosphere of the comics(I'm a sucker for the spy ones).

TF2 is TFC for kiddies. I'd rather play in one of the many bot-filled servers of TFC than play a game of TF2 with humans.

It's a fad. Fads don't always have to be good, just popular enough that people want to participate just to be part of the "cool" crowd.

TFC is an underground rock band that kicks massive booty but doesn't have a large fanbase because they don't whore themselves out like the big name bands.

TF2 is a big name rock band that sucks and whores themselves out and sells more than the kickass band because it's popular and you see them EVERYWHERE YOU GO.

You can't form on opinion on a game just from videos, you have to play it. The graphics were not all that great but the gameplay is 20/10.
