GTA (the series)
Excite bike and/or truck
Phoenix Wright
Trauma Centre
Metroid

Any videogame where there is only one principal character, and he/she works alone the entire time.

That being said, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time or Majora's mask would be pretty cool if it was put in the right hands. Link could talk a little.

A Legend of Zelda movie is actually being made.

Opening scene: Touching family time with the Arans on their colony, a little exploration, enough to make you a little attached to the family and their very cute little girl. Ridley personally takes care of Samus's parents while she watches from hiding...Ridley's theme would be a recurring musical motif, along with Samus's theme, but well orchestrated, and lengthened into full, not looping songs.

Chozo find, brief childhood with the Chozo, etc.etc...flash forward to the Academy...not many people like her there...she's different in subtle ways, and better than everyone...etc.

And basically, I could see them exploring the original Adam Malkovitch...And the mission that cost him his life.

Anyway...It would have less of Samus in Varia/power suit, and more of her as a person and her life.

It CAN be done...but VERY carefully.
