Heimer was an insane pusher when his turrets dealt full dmg to towers. Then they nerfed that and he was still pretty good since his grenades did a lot of dmg to towers and his turrets were ok. Now his grenades and turrets do half dmg to towers and hes still pretty crazy.

There is a reason he is banned almost all the time in ranked play. If he is mid, you cant leave that lane to go gank, he can push really hard and even though he is nerfed, if your team makes a mistake, Heimer can capitalize on that mistake and take a tower or what not.

BTW the most banned heroes in ranked are Shaco, Heimer, Soraka, Shen, and Xin.

Shaco and Heimer are annoying as hell to play against and Soraka is BS with heals and her and Shen have a global ult which is also annoying as it can save someone from dying or help gank or what not. Xin is just pretty OP now with that slow/charge and a pop up, he has good CC and dmg and isn't super squishy either.

I'd easily ban Taric over Soraka, and Sion/Zilean over Shaco. Sion/Zilean are such cheap champions it's not even funny.

Sion has ridiculous early-game burst damage even with no AP, Taric has both heals and a stun, making his lane partner both dangerous and difficult to harass, Zilean has the time bombs, which will do more damage to you than almost any other ability you can use on him, forcing you to stay out of his ridiculously long bombing range, which usually prevents you from farming creeps against even a remotely aggressive player.

Yeah, they're all terrors in the laning phase, but a team with Soraka will never start a fight without full health regardless of harassment, a team with Shen will be much, much harder to gank, and a team with Heimer can push towers no matter how carefully you defend them. Shaco is more independent, but he's very hard to catch and he's got great damage output. You can also use him as a tank and he'll still kill people merely by standing near them.

Exactly. You can't leave heimer alone since he can push like a mofo. Soraka makes sure her team is always topped off and has mana, something Taric can't do. Not to mention a good Soraka will pay attention to the map and see if they can heal a teammate even if they aren't there. Shen makes it impossible to gank since he can just teleport in on someone, taunt everyone and then run away with feint on, saved a lot of people like that once. Made a warwick rage quit in a ranked game actually lol. Shaco is just annoying as hell, hes super hard to kill, and he is an awesome ganker, if you can shut him down early hes not as good, but hes still pretty crazy and hes a good pusher with his clone on a turret.

Usually people will take Taric if Soraka is banned which is annoying, but not as bad as soraka. Zilean is can be annoying but he is a 1 trick pony, stack some MR and he is useless. Kayle is the big baddie, with that ult she can save people and her dmg + healing ability is pretty decent. A good kayle can be very OP and a great support/offensive player for their team. Unfortanetly you can't ban her and soraka/shen/heimer/shaco/xin.

You'd think Riot would do something about this.

They nerfed like one champion as I see. It's freaking annoying to know that Cho'Gath now has 6 stacks instead of 8.

The competitive environment always works like this. There's the absolute best heroes which everyone chooses, and then there's everything else which is, for whatever reason, slightly less effective. It doesn't always mean that those heroes need a nerf, as long as the difference in effectiveness is small enough.

It's also worth noting that any hero will seem OP as long as they get fed enough. You could go attack damage Veigar and still destroy an entire team under the right circumstances.

Edit: In fact, if anyone wants to play a practice game with me, I'm totally doing that.

Eh, the whole health/AP synergy sounds a bit OP. It's already very easy to be a tanky mage.

This guy is set up to be OP.

Ahah could you imagine Cho'Gath with 8 stacks. Dear god I main him and even then I'd just yell that my hero is Overpowered. I already get 4k health and am unkillable if I aim right with just 6 stacks.

They haven't even done a full preview yet, nobody even knows what his abilities are.



And, there is no way Zilean is a 'one trick pony', his ult, movement speed increase/decrease, and fantastic burst damage makes him one of the greatest support heroes in game. It will take alot more than stacking Mr to make him useless.
