So, assuming you went to high school, you've probably been to a dance with a theme of some sort. Name a theme or whatever that was interesting.

We have an upcoming one that is superhero themed, and I'm going as Rorschach. Better get to work on that costume...

Our next dance is called Frostbite and it's a winter theme dance.

Frostbite sounds really unappealing to me.

Every single one of our's is themed. The only ones I remember are: Safari, Beach, Toga, Celebrity, Halloween (every year), Space, Hero (not super, just... hero. Most people dressed as super heroes anyways), and... teachers. Our teachers are so arrogant/desperate they made a dance themed after themselves. Some kids actually showed up dressed as teachers. It was quite hilarious.

My latest one was a Masquerade theme.

Just about EVERY guy went as the Phantom of the Opera.

I laughed. :awesome:

We were supposed to dress up as famous musicians or bands and sing one of their songs.

Everyone expected me to go as Jason Mraz, so instead I rickroll'd the entire school.

Win.

Did someone record it or something?

I wish.

That's right, if you copy bad Internet fads, you're instantly going to heaven.

Well, last year we had "masquerade" as a theme for homecoming, but we couldn't wear masks. Even those half-faced masks.

:colbert:

I even had a perfect mask planned out.

The mask is actually a t-shirt of my little brother's that I put some acrylic paint on and folded it. I bought a scarf from Wal-Mart (the employees made fun of me), borrowed a fedora from my older brother (lucky for me, he was just in the high school production of Guys and Dolls), and borrowed a trench coat from my grandfather. The rest of the stuff were just things that I had lying around.
