Hey, I figured I should share this little piece of trivia with you guys. No real reason, I just feel like it.

Ever wonder where Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff started? It actually did not begin during Homestuck. It actually began in the Penny-Arcade forums. In this thread. (S_O is Andrew, the guy who makes MSPA). Yeah, SB&HJ actually started as not a parody of gamer comics in general but a parody of a specific shitty gamer comic that had maybe four comics total that some guy posted on the Penny-Arcade forum.

SB&HJ doesn't show up until page three, but it's worth reading the other three pages just so you can see the build-up, and what inspired S_O to make it in the first place.

It is very worth it.

The first time I saw that thread, I thought the guy with the shitty comics was Andrew trolling the forum. I mean, it would make sense since Andrew copied his style. He even took the ":Y" face. That thing is fucking classic.
