Well, I don't think they should have one made in America. The Japanese one was great, even the English dub (which is what I watched it in)

Well, if they do it with non-Japanese people, the only actor that comes remotley close to looking like Raito is Zac Efron...just as long as he doesn't sing, we'll be good. Great actor, but he wasted his talent in HSM.

Has anyone ever read Mushishi? To me it's one of the most humbling comic series I've ever read. It's got a great story (actually, the story is just stories, but they have a lot of folklore in them) and a good main character with his pros and cons.. It's a great unique series, I'd recommend picking it up.
There's an anime but I haven't seen much of it. Apparently a movie too..

Angel Beats ended :(

The ending was interesting, at least it was pop flyin' and tearful (to be expected from Key though).

I am more sad that its over now more so than I am sad about the ending.

That's how I ended up feeling about it.
Ending would've been incredibly sad if it weren't for the bit after the credits. I liked it, but at the same time I was a bit disappointed that it didn't move me more.

I really wish the series had been longer, though. Watching it again, you can tell a bunch of stuff was cut out and condensed to fit into the 13 episodes. Backstories on the other members would've been nice.

Seeing all the posters on /a/ arguing about the order of events with Kanade and Otonashi makes me lol.
Oh, I've read Mushishi, it was a very interesting series. The fantasy appeal of it really won me over. I must go back and reread it sometime

On ther hand, I sometimes feel like I'm the only person in the community who likes Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei but that's just me. Still, it's a good dark comedy/parody - both manga and anime are good but the anime is better though for two reasons:

1. The animation is beautiful and very visually appealing, specially in the first three seasons.

2. The jokes are funnier cause they're put into action as opposed to the manga version which is still funny but bit bland.

SZS is fantastic. If you liked that animation, check out Bakemonogatari, same SHAFT style.
Lol I saw them arguing on /a/ was funny. Ya I wish there was more of TK and like the characters totally of Kanade and Yuri totally changed in like the last episode. Kanade went from some badass to like hiding behind Yuri and Yuri went from some like badass to just a normal anime girl. I wanted more of it as well but oh well, you take what you get. Still love that opening theme.
I totally agree with you. Why would they remake a relatively new movie just because it's in a different language? I LOVED the live action Japanese Death Note movie and I will probably not bother to watch the English-made one.

So...there's a new Beyblade series on Cartoon Network. Who watched it?

I have. It's one of the more confusing animes I've seen.
Anyway, I'm new(er) here and felt like I should post here.
Favorites animes:
Baccano!
Cowboy Bebop (obligatory)
FMA Brotherhood
Soul Eater
Death Note

I've seen a few others, but I think these are the best.
