Remind me what moves like 'Odor Sleuth', 'Miracle Eye', and 'Lock On' do - oh yeah - they make it possible to hit an enemy which has otherwise obscured itself from the normal visible spectrum. X-rays, being outside of the visible spectrum, allow Luxray to target prey - even when the target is using 'Double Team' or 'Smokescreen'.
I just checked the Pokédex info of Luxray, and it doesn't have X-Ray vision at all. It only sees through objects. Different, in my opinion.
Double Team makes "duplicates" of the user. In most instances in the animé, the user is moving rapidly from point to point. You can't target the original if all of them are the original, unless if they're all Psychic-brand copies and odn't really exist. I don't know, that move is pretty strange.
Smokescreen gets smoke in your eyes.

I thought Golbat (evolved form of Zubat) learned 'Mean Look' (Golbat has ocular organs).

I don't have an issue with this move - Empoleon actually has three metal points under its finial/flipper that could count as claws - the claws being the contentious issue. Prinplup does not have claws.
Two definitions of "claw":
1. any part or thing resembling a claw, as the cleft end of the head of a hammer.
2. to tear, scratch, seize, pull, etc., with or as if with claws: The kitten clawed my sweater to shreds.
Prinplup's flippers look somewhat pointed to me, but that's just my opinion. If Metal Claw used the verb form of claw, it would make much more sense for Prinplup to be able to learn it.

Have you ever seen rodent teeth?

If you hug that thing you'll most likely never play the mandolin again.
I'm very well aware that rodent teeth can grow to be huge and sharp like those, but have you seen Pikachu's teeth? It can
smile. At least, if you consider animé Pikachu to be canon.

WHOA WAIT A SECOND
I just remembered that Melee Pikachu didn't leave in Katie's comics. Maybe Pichu never existed in the world of Awkward Zombie SSB.
