Just a slight change from the Cliched "nice weather we're having today" Cliche, since I've not been here in a while.

Anyway, Has anyone been having bad or unusually weather/ environmental catastrophies lately?

We had a miniscule earth tremor that hit us, the main quake was estimated to have hit Queens New york. We're also getting hit with a severe thunderstorm, and have the regions been put on Tornado watch.

We had a Tornado rip through our peaceful country side 2 weeks ago it decimated nearly all the trees we had hanging around the parks and lots of damage done.

What about you guys and gals?

Well, last Friday we had a rainstorm that bodaciously did not stop until Monday.

Also, Cheyenne is under constant Severe Thunder Storm Warnings, semi-constant Tornado warnings, and constant 70% chances of those thunder and rain storms. We haven't gotten a tornado since I moved up here to Wyoming, but there's been lots of rain. Way better than Arizona weather.

There was an earthquake in Massachusetts today
Other than that, its the same terrible, uncomfortable heat it normally is.

Could get worse

Lightning strikes the Oilicane. Becomes world's first Pyrocane.

That it did, but for the life of me I can't figure out why it hit us. We're located on a geographically stable (for the most part) tectonic plate, the faultlines are not overly active unless it is reacting to small tremors and after shocks releasing magma from the core into the mantle, the shifting doesn't generally cause us quakings, the last quake that hit Toronto was a deep aftershock, about 8 years ago, assumed to be a run off from a bigger east coast one.

I think Mother Nature is toying with us.
