It's a little confusing, for OoT anyway. Miyamoto is saying it was just a concept demonstration, because Nintendo is currently going through their backlog and seeing what their games might be like in 3D, and that OoT was just that (although being vague as to whether it's actually decided if its going to be a full game), but Nintendo Of America are saying it's a confirmed fully-fledged game, and their site even reflects that.



But they're certainly not Tech Demos. Or even close, since they weren't even properly demonstrated.

It doesn't mean to be demonstrated to be a tech demo. Tech demos are meant to show what it can do, and that's why it was there. If they were certain that they'd release it they'd have talked about it during the conference.

I always thought paper mario was supposed to be going for a pop up book style, so 3D makes plenty sense.

I really hate tech demos. They always get your hopes up, only to quickly destroy them and all you love.

First, the FF7 tech demo on the PS3 that made everyone think that a remake was being made, and now this.
