Hey I was wondering if anyone knew a good site that had scholarly articles. Specifically I am looking for ones about imagery in Paul Coelho's "The Alchemist".

Also yes, I know there are like references in wikipedia but you know....

Lazy.

Google Scholar

It's usually best for scientific research articles but you might be able to find something.

I don't know if it will help me with this subject, but I know it will come in handy later. Thanks, Torizo!

You're welcome! Plain old Google and the Wiki references might help you out a bit more than this. Scholar can get pretty frustrating sometimes.

MORE IN DEPTH EDIT: I know jack shit about what problems are or are not serious in 21st-century America because I have never bothered watching the news, aside from the problem that is the education System, and I have already written a two-page essay about that.

You could do the recent nuclear arms reduction between Russia and the U.S.

Not a problem in itself but you could use that one event to talk about nuclear arms in general.

also, though the arms are reduced in numbers, the capacity of the new warheads and missiles in develpment far surpass the power of the combined decommisioned warheads. Sneaky sneaky, Obama.
