So I realised that one day that everyone I have known or cared about will die. Nearly all of them will die before me.

I don't want to be alone. But it wouldn't be right if I left anyone alone as well.

Robert Howard, the guy that wrote the Conan books, was clinically depressed for most of his life. His mother was terminally ill with tuberculosis since before he was born, so he had to watch her slowly die. By the time he was thirty, all of his close friends got married and drifted away from him, focusing on their careers. His stories became less popular, and he started losing what little cheddar he had after spending it all on care for his Mother. His girlfriend, Novalyne Price, started dating one of his closest friends, and he fell out with her.

His Mother's health declined, and she fell into a permanent coma. As soon as the nurse told him, he walked out to his car and shot himself in the head.

I just got done talking with my friend about how she attempted suicide and how badly she wanted out of this world a couple months ago (before I knew her).

Even though I knew about it, I still wanna break down in tears at the thought of her not being in my life...

That would just make me more suspicious that something was stolen.

My Great Uncle was in an accident and a lot of people were hurt but even though it wasn't his fault he still blamed himself for it and carried the guilt with him for many, many years.

That just makes me so sad to think about him. How he felt. I hope he's okay now.

Don't worry, Nachalnik. One of these days you'll understand the concept of being friends with someone younger than you.

The probability of prostate cancer ensures that a high percentage of my friends will suffer from it, a small percentage of them will die from it indefinably.
