With how much time shenanigans are in Homestuck, it is entirely possible that he is not yet actually 30-something.

And even if he was he still sliced a goddamn meteor in half and fought Jackspers Noirlecrow without getting immediately slaughtered in less than a second. I think those traits are badass enough to make up for everything.
