I think it's sad mostly because every single guy on the internet who reads that thinks "I don't even know you but I'd love you like you wanted that boy to in a heartbeat, if I had the chance asdf"

The coffee shop story made me freak the fuck out. I recently made a character that visits a coffee shop regularly named Cassey, and then right after I finished reading that, my cell phone rang and a man's voice I didn't recognize was asking for a Cassey.

He started talking to me as though I was just keeping her hidden in my closet or something and I was like "Sir, this really is my number, I'm sorry but I don't know any Cassey."

And he was like "BUT IT'S HER BIRTHDAY AND I'M TRYING TO FIND HER."

It was so weird. He ended the call by introducing himself and suddenly hanging up. His name was Buck, apparently.
