I know, what was I thinking. Its Gaia, of course its not good. But since I need a good free browser MMO, or the like, I decided to try it out. Needless to say, it was terrible.

So, anyone can give me a name of free MMO Browser games, I'd love ot see em. Maybe I'll even review them here. FOR YOU GUYS.

I kinda hoped to avoid that one, but I have played it before and can whip up a review.

Runescape is, as we all know, already terrible. This could be said due to the bad graphics, bad music, odd combat system, the playerbase, the need to pay to use most of the content, the playerbase, and the playerbase. When playing, I suggest turning off the chat. That will solve many problems. Unfortunately, some quests require help from others. One being a rather confusing crossbow stealing quest. That's as far as I got.

Stats are gained by doing a certain skill repeatedly. This means creating a mile long line of campfires to gain one skill point, chopping down hundreds of trees for nowhere near the amount needed to go to the next tree level, or fishing whenever that group of 5 people top hogging that one spot.

Yes, it is a "free" MMO, in a sense. It has the pay for extra, or in this case, the majority, of the content. Its only 5 bucks a month, so it isn't much. Though, that's about the weekly allowance of most of the playerbase, so it works out well in the end. Some things you can do when you pay is access about the other 90% of the world, wear better gear, and hop fences. Yeah, you gotta pay to hop a fence.

Runescape is a good timewaster if you're desperate and are sick of flash games. Just, like I said, turn off the chat and you'll be fine.

You really don't have to. I've...got extensive experience with it, and I'm sure pretty much everyone here knows what it's like.

This just hit me, but I'm shocked Neopets hasn't made one.

I had seriously though they had. Like, that's what Neopets was.

Nah, it's like... a free gaming website where you have to take care of a pixelated dog, or some other stupid animal they've made ridiculously cutesy or "evil" through HOURS AND HOURS OF TIME (in MSPaint.)

Okay, probably Photoshop or something but that's not as funny to say.

I thought Gaia was just a forum for weeaboos.

It still is.

I'm disappointed with gaia's MMO, I was a beta tester and in the first ten minutes of that game I was like "fuck this."

As for a better MMO, try shaiya. It takes a shitload of time to download but it's also a lot like world of warcraft except for the level of character customization.
