Not everything is ordered just for you.

It's clear that this game is made so I start from Route 1 and go to Route 30-something, the weakest gym is somehow located right next to me, and the order of badges is convenient enough so I can always get to the next gym. The only way to become Champion is to live in Pallet Town, and we have only two houses!
