Hello everybody, and welcome to Science Time!

Today, we will be making a Non-Newtonian fluid

If you dont know what that means, learn something

Basically, its Jesus water. Its a liquid that temporarily turns into a solid when pressure is applied.

First, we will need 1 cup of water


Then, we will need 1.5 to 2 cups of cornstarch (I used about 1.75)


Then pour the water into a bowl, and stir with your hand (it will eventually get too thick to use a spoon) as you slowly add the cornstarch.

The end result:

Gently lower your hand into the mixture, and you have a liquid



But if you quickly apply pressure, like with a quick punch or poke,

Solid.

Well there you have it, your own non-Newtonian fluid


Just dont forget to clean up when you're done!

Or apply sodium to water. Not salt, pure sodium.
