I thought it was common knowledge that sprites don't have feelings.

Excluding Rune Factory, I haven't played any Harvest Moons since Save the Homeland hahaha so terrible. Are any of the newer ones any good?

The DS ones are kind of crap.

Just get Friends of Mineral Town or More Friends of Mineral Town and you're good to go. Those have always been my favorites. It's essentially an "enhanced" port of BtN and HM64 for the GBA.

The newer ones are okay, but not great. It seems like they've gone completely overboard. In a lot of them there's really no point in farming. Ever. Which defeats the purpose of the game, methinks.

Hahahaha take that game I just raised 50k in less than a season

And now I can get my house upgraded. And have children. And more pets. Fuck yeah.

And I'm more than halfway done with the very last Bell quest, I am going to so totally finish this game before school's out.

I haven't played much of it, but I've enjoyed Sunshine Islands so far. I stopped playing for a short period because I'm doing a quick solo run of Emerald just to get done with the game.

Man, Rune Factory 2 has bad pacing, almost as slow as Morrowind.



Anyways I ended up marrying the one magic person with PANK hair and a silly hat, mainly because if I did she would stay inside my house when it rained. (You can pay her to make it rain) So I would never water anything again.



...But it kinda makes awkward conversations with the child, "Mommy, why are you going down to the pier with half a shirt on?"

I've played so many of the HM games, and 64 is still my favorite. But I've always tended to prefer the older ones to the new.





Also, I usually play with the male character(if there's an option), because there aren't many female sprites that I like. Well, that and I hate almost all of the Bachelors.

There are never any interesting bachelors.

Which is why I am so mad they took the "best friends" option out of HM DS Cute. Fuck you America, I want to be a lesbian.

America sucks in that regard.

The bachelors probably aren't interesting because it was only recently that they started making the games with playing as a girl in mind.


Also, I find it really funny how long it took Natsume to realize that most of their audience with this game was female. But when they noticed oh boy did they notice.

...Was there a single Harvest Moon game that they didn't re-release with the ability to play as a girl?

Yeah I was rustled they took the "Best Friends" option out too. I ended up marrying the Doctor/Trent instead. I just go with whoever looks the most like Dimm.

I assume they were scared of the controversy it might rise.
