I usually try to find a solo option for group projects. Due to whenever I'm in a group, I always end up doing about 90% of the work when they do the other 10% of just half assing it the first day then doing nothing the next 3 or so.

I have two for today, one I'd normally put in TMI but it happened at school so ohwell.

First: I found out my Business teacher plays dwarf fortress as well when he saw it on my flash drive while get some file out for class. We had a pretty good geek out about the new version, past failures, and generally good time. He even got out his version of his fort and we compared build strategies.

BEST TEACHER EVER.

Second: English class, the den of sin and all that is vile. Lord of the Flies seminars (30 minute presentations) in which each group got a different chapter. My group went last week and the last group was scheduled for today. They decided to strip down to their boxers (all male group :( ) as a "metaphor" for the downwards progression of society.

TOO MUCH MANHOOD. NOT ENOUGH BRAIN BLEACH.

So I'm studying John Steinbeck for the fourth time in my school career.

I am getting really sick of this guy.

Jihn Steinbeck is a classic American writer. He wrote Grapes of Wrath, The Pearl, etc.

He's awful.

The popularity of anything (in the critical world) is directly related to the amount of Aesopian morals you can fit into it. Bonus points if the moral is blatantly obvious.

Today we had an assembly for a fundraiser.

and then because we raised so much cheddar, we got to see teachers fling banana cream pies in the faces of students of their choice.

I love my school's fundraisers.
