Congratulations on spending all day in your house instead of going to an actual school, making friends and developing a social identity

I've got friends, bitch. I socialize more in a day than you do in a week. Smiley.

Since everyone is quick to point out how homeschool sucks, let me point out a story of mine from public school. I was talking to this kid, and I rustled him off, so the kid spit in my eye. Now, thats bad enough, but then said kid got all his little friends together and made it so I got in trouble. I got a weeks detention because a kid spit in my eye. This is just one story of mine.

tl;dr, public school is good if you're popular. Home school is good if you are the exact oppisite of poular and everyone hates you.

Pfft, I was anti-popular and public middle and high school were the best years of my life

The thing is, I don't even remember. I don't even remember.
Also, there's a difference between bieng unpoular and The daisies nerds picking on you.

See, the problem is that, in life, you are always going to be surrounded by people that hate you. You need to learn how to deal with this early on, not shelter yourself in your house.

Hey.

Hey guys.

Someone is allowed to like homeschooling more than the regular type.

It is their opinion.

It is not that big a deal.

I really have nothing against Homeschoolers, but don't be a jerk and boast about "learning more".

A family friend who was home schooled because of his bipolar disability is now one of the brightest minds in the country last I heard about him. He was lucky and had really smart parents.

In all of my education classes... Hell, ALL of my college classes I keep hearing horror stories of home schooled kids that get up to college level and then have the hardest time because their parents didn't want them to learn a certain thing. It must be a real shock to going to a college science class without knowing a thing about the evolutionary theory.
Yes I have heard a story of that really happening.

Yeah, whenever I hear stories of home schooling it always seems because the schools teachings go against the parents, which either teach them very little, teach them directly from the bible, or teach them so much there swamped in work and have very little, if none social skills. But then again, in public schools bad things can happen too, it depends if you go to a good one (and likewise, if your parents/tutors are good teachers).
