on the argument about DLCs, games like Borderlands do it a lot better, its only like £6.30 for an entire group of new areas, a new storyline and loads of new guns and quests, yet for the Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus map pack, which is like 6 new maps, 2 of them arent even new and are from the old game, its £10 just for that

The only important decision in choosing which gun to use in a FPS, is picking the gun which has the most awesome sound effect.


Ame got it earlier. Goldeneye 007. I'm pretty sure the PP7 had absolutely no recoil and no spread in that game. Thus making it easy to hit people from extremely far away as long as you were capable of aiming without a scope.

Yes, I haven't played an FPS in a long time (unless you count Metroid Prime, but they can't be FPS games, they don't even have guns)

In borderlands I carried a very bad sniper rifle (something around 50 damage) until I was in my level 20's because I liked how it sounded and the random drops weren't dropping hyperions.

i still use Whittings Elephant Gun as my primary sniper rifle
and i use TKs Wave when im in my second playthrough because i love it so

My elephant gun was a rifle not a sniper.

Granted, if anything got into my face it'd bodaciously drop dead because of how overpowered a gun it is

Its a sniper it just doesnt have a scope.

EDIT: USUALLY. There is a chance, a very very small chance, that as a Skagzilla drop it can spawn with a scope.[/u]

Gah, I hated that game. Not only would the enemies AI would perfectly track your bullets perfectly, I sniped an enemy from waaaaaay across the room through this tiny little hole, next thing I know theres a barrage of bullets flying into the hole at me, but they always seem to make it way to hard to keep up with the enemies levels.

Someone hates Borderlands?
