...umm, kay, what? The game allows for multiple savegames in the same galaxy, and once you unlock a phase, you can start a new savegame from that phase anytime you want.
Heck, if you use console commands, you can unlock all stages straight away!

I have 2,000 creations automatically downloaded so far at random. I have yet to find a dickcreature among them, and I search through recently downloaded stuff to remove the crappy ones.
