I just watched Adventure Time. The first segment was good, the second was a bit lacking.

LARGE HAMS ARE AN ACQUIRED TASTE.

(no this is not a direct reference to the show)

Hey, guys, did you hear there's a new cartoon coming out on the CN? Its called Chowder.

No, seriously, I haven't been on the internet in frikkin' months and now this [edit]ADVENTURE TIME[/edit] has an internet cult following. I immediately thought that I would hate the piss out of it, but I've watched the preview (I don't get CN) online and find some very mature humor in it for CN, just like my own childhood used to have ;w; . Needless to say, I like it well enough for a pilot, but I guess I'll have to see the rest to judge.

Chowder is a pretty good show.

Cartoons seem to be not sucking anymore for some reason. Which is nice.

...I still haven't seen an episode of Adventure Time though... (Not counting the original animation, of course)

Sorry, I should have made it clearer. The whole internet cult following I found was on Adventure Time, I wasn't meaning to derail the thread. >_<

Did we already talk about the Scooby Doo reboot they're doing? A sneak peek was on right before the first showing of Adventure Time.

Regretfully I missed it. I heard it's good.

I can't seem to find it anywhere online either.

Some pics...'cause I like pics...
Also, they were designed pretty well in my opinion.

I've never really cared for Scooby-Doo, but I kind of like the angular style they're going for in the reboot.

Velma looks way more feminine than she ever has before in that shot.

So is Fred's. Seriously, he could go up against Gaston in a chin competition.

Talking of big chins, Fred's is huge. I don't mind though, totally okay with big chins.

teheheh.

I used to (and still sorta do) love Scooby - Doo and the Mystery Gang. Especially Velma. I dunno if I like her new more feminine approach but I definitely don't like Fred's giant chin. Looks like if he turned around you could get headbutted by him or something.

I am constantly reminded of how much I look like Shaggy.
