I'd just like to emphasize an earlier post that no one really noticed...


KATIE DID HER CALCULUS HOMEWORK WRONG!

...the limit of 6^(1/n) as n -> infinity is 1, so the series diverges.


Also, the limit test can only be used to see if a series diverges. It can't be used to prove if a series converges....

Yeah I got that homework like the day we first went over convergence/divergence tests. I didn't understand them and got a pretty bad grade on that. :psyduck:

Furthermore, even if the the actual terms converged to zero as n approached infinity, that doesn't imply that the series itself converges.

Maths is probably my weakest subject, other than human history.

I've always been pretty good at abstract maths though - algebra and stuff.


And calculating dimensions of objects in three-dimensional space, I'm good at that too.
