I used to play more. Green + Red deck FTW

I stopped playing when I moved away from home.
As I was playing T2 it both got too expensive over time for me, and why keep collecting cards when you have no one to play with.

My best deck was a Token deck. It wasn't particularly good, I got beaten pretty often, but when I got it rollin', I was unstoppable. Theoratically I could've gone up and spewed out more then 400 tokens a round, and all atleast 400/400, the more I got out haha.

I collected the whole Ravnica set, exept like... 6 cards I nearly got it completed, with some rare cards in foil scattered here and there.
The other set I wanted to collect was... oh god, what was the name, it's the set where it's heavily based on creature classes and the way they play together; main races beeing fire elementals, Goblins, Elves, Marrows, Giants and those small folk for the white color. The following set is the same world, but it's reversed (all the good races are bad, and the bad races are good). When I recall correctly, the first one is where the sun always shines, the reverse one is where the sun never shines.

tl;dr I collected Ravinka and some other set which name I don't remember


And my last purchase actually was last year in summer, bought two cards which will serve as a basis for a tattoo.

Looked it up, the other set I collected is Lorwyn. Just ment Shadowmoor to try make it a bit more obvious which set I ment.

I got into all this stuff (including board games) when near my school a small shop opened. It's been how long now... a good 6 years. Me and the shopkeeper, aswell as some frequent visitors are close friends. They were the only reason I considered staying home when I was thinking of moving away.

I always were the one who had crazy deck ideas, testing this, testing that... but lost most of the time because I often never put much thought into my decks how to overcome this or that situation.
I never realised until now I was a comical relief character; oh snap

That was a good question, made me think back on old times, but it's hard remembering if I had a catch phrase...
But things I said most often were:
"Theoratically ..."
"Shit"
"Aaaaah"
"I have this one idea for a deck, where ..."
"Okay 'tap tap and tap' and HAHA NOW COMES <insert strong creature card here I announce with a sadistically tone>" Or optionally a spell who beat me out of a stupid situation or a strong which slapped my oponnent in the face

I think that's about it.

Some months ago, I played Magic the first time in a lot of years. I borrowed the deck of a friend and me and 6 others played all versus all. I used a merfolk deck. I kicked their asses. Killing some with power and the last, and the best and most experiences, player, I took by removing his whole deck in one turn using an ability which lets me choose someone to draw one card, from their deck, for each merfolk I tap.

i used to have a merfolk deck back when lorwyn came out. merfolk decks are my favorite kind of blue deck.

Strange story: I just played this game on a camping trip and am looking for a place to buy cards. Does target carry them?

They should. I know they carry Yu-gi-oh and Pokemon.
