I'm mostly playing Fallout 3 right now. I want Bioshock 2 and some other games that don't involve DOING MILLIONS OF QUESTS TO ACHIEVE NOTHING.

Oh god... My dad was watching me play Valkyria Chronicles and it was so weird. He's never really understood Japanese media, and I always felt like he's kind of disapproved of my enjoying it.

For some reason though, the alternate-WWII-edness of it kept him watching.

Although, he really like that gamecube Fire Emblem so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

I was kinda dissappoint with the difficulty of the bosses in NMH, Death Metal was ok since he has this triple technique which can get a bit annoying, then Dr. Peace who was pretty good at holding you on a distance and you constantly needed to reload your beam katana, and quick. Then Shinobu who took a bit of pattern learning first. After that I found it ridicoulusly easy, some were a bit annoying, but still easy. Until the rank 2 and 1 fights, then it was hard again, but man what fights, they made a lasting impression on me.

It's the best MGS in my opinion. Although I never played 4 or portable ops.
Same here, never played 4 or port ops.

I love how open it is compared to the cramped spaces in the previous games.
In case you care, the ordering is widely agreed to be
MGS 1< MGS 3< MGS4 <MGS 3 Subsistence.

Your personal milage may vary, but the removal of the birds eye controls really helped.

As for 2, even discounting Raiden and the whole plot going a bit crazy, its kinda weak. The Boss fights aren't really as memorable as the others (Vamps the best, but he really can't seem to measure up. He sorta gets to become a relatively standard fight besides the shadows thingy).

But yeah, its a great game with lots of secrets, you'll probably enjoy it loads.
