That game was bad and you're bad for liking it.

When I play halo I want to play as a badass, not some crew of mindless army stereotypes which actually go as far as to include "The Girl" as one. ODST felt more like a 1980s action flick then a Halo game, which sounds good, but really isn't. It had no real plot (Okay, so Halo 3 was weak in that department too, but it was good enough for me to forgive it) and I have to wonder which Bungie employee came up with "Halo 3 except we fuck up the mechanics a bit, and take away master chief and multiplayer! And who thought the previous pitch was a good idea! It's worse then Halo Wars! And Halo Wars was not good!

Ahem... Er... Sorry about that. Bad memories.

Anyway, I suppose this looks like fun.

Yes, it wasn't Halo 3. That's why I liked it. I like being a commando rather than an overtly powerful one man army sometimes. It wasn't a bad game, even though apparently eveeryone who has a different opinion than you is stupid and has bad taste.
