I want this game so much and it makes me so pop flyin' that you can play it from a non-first person perspective...

I love the non-fps Metriod so much more then the Prime series

Of the recent Metroids....

I fucking loved Fusion, loved Zero Mission up until the sneaking part which rustled me off, I loved Prime and Corruption, but Echoes was fucking irritating, bland and just not fun.

I thought it was the first-person perspective that you didn't like?

Personally I thought Metroid was built for FPS, what with all the different visor types that were used throughout the series, but I think more could've been done with that as well.

Yeah, Echoes wasn't the best of the series - I didn't like the introduction of light and dark ammo, and the enemy and boss design was fairly mediocre (that last boss was just ugh). The 'Echo Scope' was the only redeeming feature, and that was a rip-off from the 'Dare Devil' film.

Metroid Fusion is my absolute favorite game of the series...

Mind you, it was my first Metroid game, but still...

Super Metroid has always been my favorite, but I think I love Metroid Prime just as much. It really encompassed the feel of the 2-D Metroids in a 3-D environment. I didn't really like Echoes at all. Corruption was great, but there's just something about the first one that I love.

Looks pretty cool, I'll probably get it.

And on the topic of which is my favorite, I prefer the FPS Metroids more. I go back to Metroid Prime 1 at least once a year to replay it, and now that I have the Trilogy I have a whole month worth of gaming in the fall.
