I'm thinking about getting a triforce tattoo on my hand, but I don't know which hand. I'm fairly sure Link has his on his left hand, since he's left handed and all, but do the other character's? I want to know because I want to get wisdom, and not courage or power.

Zelda, who has Wisdom, doesn't have it on her body. In WW she had it on a necklace. In OoT, she carries it around.

And, yeah, Link has Courage on his left hand.

All keepers of the Triforce eventually get a Triforce insignia on their hands, Zelda on her right hand, Link and Ganondorf on their left.

Link has it on his left hand; Zelda and Ganondorf have it on their right hands. It just goes to your dominant hand.

Yeah Zelda's got it on her right.

You know top of the hand is one of the most painful places to get a tattoo, right?

Good luck, Starseed.

I'm aware of the pain, I've done my research on tattoos. I just wasn't in the mood for beating OoT again to see at the very end which hand each person's Triforce appeared on.

If it's on her right, that fits in with the most dominant hand thing since I'm right-handed. I need to learn how to write with both hands! DX

Put it on your shoulder so you can be "Arrr WW pirate keeper of the triforce arr."

...Sorry, it's early in the morning.

Don't do it Don't do it Don't do it Don't do it.

Maybe something more subtle, like the royal crest in all black on your arm, so it's not screaming I AM A ZELDA HIPPIE everywhere.

Hey, I am a NEEEEEEERD.

Problem is, I hate tatoos and have no tolerance for pain.

Plus, it's permanent. Fucking permanent. Screw that.

Just draw it in yellow or gold marker every morning, and if you don't like it any more, stop. You can get away with stuff like that for simple designs.

You can get tattoos removed, but usually it leaves scars. That's what I don't like. Despite what people seem to be thinking though, I've put a lot of thought into whether or not I should get this tattoo. It's not just something random, I really want to do it. I just want it to be on the proper hand.

I think I might get it on my left hand anyways though, since my right hand is my main hand and it use it for a lot of things. I don't want to have to not be able to do stuff for weeks because I got a tattoo on my hand.

Yeah a tattoo on the back of your hand will cripple the hand indefinitely. Also, if you do get the tattoo, post a picture :D
