I think i'll do the next update. I'm gonna to it in pencil, though, so it'll take a little longer. I want to put real effort in this one!

Zink felt pain. He felt nothing else. Just pain. Horrible, horrible pain.

He tried to move. He tried to say something. Anything.

But he couldn't.

His vision blurred. He could barely make out the sound of the voices of those that killed him. His enemies, although he no longer remembered why it was he fought. The words sounded too faint for him to understand. Every second, they got fainter, and fainter. His vision blurred yet even more. Soon, for him, there was nothing but silence, and darkness.

He tried to say something. Tried to yell. Tried to scream. All that came out, however, was an incredibly faint "N-...no..."

For some reason, just before it ended for him, he had the feeling that this was okay. This was what was supposed to happen. It was all according to plan. All according to plan. All according to plan. All according to plan.

And then he died. Died fighting a battle that wasn't his, against enemies he didn't know, for reasons he didn't understand. He did not know what the why the key was so important, what these people needed it for, why he needed to stop them, or anything. He knew nothing.

They say that what you don't know won't hurt you.

They were wrong.
