Just got NSMB: Wii for Christmas.

It's fun, but the toads have a habit of dying right before the finish

So I was playing on World 2, and right before I got to the castle, I heard a Toad scream "Help me! Wahh" and stuff. Figuring that I'd get a 5up like I did last time I helped a Toad, in World 1, I went over to save him.

Holy shit. He just... I don't even know what the hell. He wandered into Pirahna plants, jumped off ledges, and made me die about ten times. (One of the worst was when the sand spout was disappearing and a threw him to safety while I succumbed to the dark abyss for the third time)

Frustrated, I finally got him to the goal, expecting a hefty reward for my troubles. THAT DICKWEED GAVE ME MUSHROOMS. MUSHROOMS, FOR FUCK'S SAKE. I SHOULD HAVE LEFT HIS TINY booty TO ROT IN THAT QUESTION BLOCK FOREVER, LIKE THE LITTLE CUNT HE IS. GAH

World 1 was easy to rescue them in, then you hit World 2 and it's like. Holy shit how much can go wrong at once

They're such a burden. I'm just not going to bother giving a shit about them if they're not in World 1.

Dumbasses don't even stay saved, they just go out and get captured again constantly.

Anyone else aiming to get every star coin?

The ghost houses are going to be my downfall I can sense it, but I'm doing pretty well so far. Every star coin up to 3-Midcastle (Which is as far as I've gotten in the game anyway)

Yeah. Thats what I did in the DS one. I think I was missing a grand total of 2 coins that I couldn't find.

I've got all the Star Coins in World 1 and World 5, but some of them continue to elude me.

Plus I still need to get around to finishing World 8.
