Since I finished Spirit Tracks, I needed a new handheld game to play. I figured I should finish Days of Ruin (I was close to the end when I stopped), but I decided to try Riviera instead, as I had just picked it up a couple days ago from GameStop. (For the most part, I get older games because I'm a cheap bastard like that.) I'm still trying to figure out the strange combat system, but so far, it's fun.

Hell yes! Riviera is awesome. Kickass music and animation, and it's quite a challenge too.

You should try Yggdra Union by the same creators, too.

I'm having a hard time playing Sims 3. Mostly, picking and playing an already established home. It won't let me play unless i make a whole new family and move them into town or pick an already made family from the bin and move them into town.

Also, no matter how much i edit a female character, it always looks like she has some weird double-chin waddle going on.

I made black guys that slept with plumbers. I then killed all the plumbers and collected their tears.

Oh yeah - I meant to ask: how's online play?

Good connectivity? Any lag?

I don't have it yet. Comes out tomorrow. And I don't even have Wi-Fi here in college.

But, from what I've heard and seen on videos, it's smooth, with the occasional laggy controls if your opponent has a shitty connection.

So is nice.

I'm pretty hyped for this game actually - more so than anything released recently.

Funny fact: Frank the Cloud is a black man.
