Yeah, so... the Evangelion Movie I was watching started to go all 2001: A Space Odyssey at one point, and I was all: 'WTF is this?'

Don't get me wrong, it worked in 2001, but it just seemed a tad too pretentious in this Neon Genesis thing.


So I distanced myself from it.

I'm pretty sure that didn't actually mean anything. It was either a mistake or the lighting of the situation.

Although the Directors says Eva is whatever you want it to be, so if thats the ending you prefer go for it.


In other news, I started watching Darker than Black. Any comments on that series?

See, I used to be a huge weeaboo, but after seeing such things as the QUALITY Van (old, but still ROFLworthy) I can't take a whole lot of anime seriously anymore. I mostly just keep to the Miyazaki movies these days.
