Meh, I wasn't realy expecting a very profound ending to a game that was advertized for having "A-Bazillion gunz". Regardless, I did feel kinda gipped.

Well, I suppose in a game with a bazillion gunz, upgrades, and alien technology, you'd be hard-pressed to think up something cooler than the shit that's already in the game, so I can't blame the developers for
the vault being basically empty.

Seriously, I was expecting some awesome final boss and I brutally slashed the guy. I watched him fall into the pits of darkness and... there was an immense feeling of disappointment.
Actually I thought it was awesome.

On the topic of Borderlands, I have to agree with Vaxidd. I was not expecting pure poetry before the credit role started. It was going to be purposely vague and unnecessarily confusing as to leave it open for sequels/DLC.

To be completely honest, now that we're on the subject, I'm getting really tired of maybe-sequel endings. There so...empty.

Also the last Prince of Persia games ending made no sense at all.

From what I've heard of the last Prince of Persia game, a crappy ending wasn't exactly its biggest issue.

Yeah, in general it was pretty bad. Very repetitive. But there's this terrible ending that really sticks out, because basically it means everything you did throughout the whole of the game had no meaning whatsoever.

Everyone's complained about the pre-broken steel Fallout 3 ending, so why then did Dragon Age do the same '15 minutes in powerpoint' type of ending? At least Fallout 3 had that awesome-voiced narrator giving badass lines, while in Dragon Age you just get some lame slideshow!

Err... no, the main reason people hated the original Fallout 3 ending was because
you had to intentionally kill yourself for no reason whatsoever.

there was a reason behind it, it just didn't make sense that the radioactive resistant party members couldn't do it for you

you didn't even have to kill yourself, you could've sent the girl helping you to die
I absolutely HATE Killer7's maybe-sequel ending. Not because it made no sense. Not because it was sorta stupid. It's because they did the whole "The End?" thing at the very end. If Capcom/SUDA51 actualy does decide to make a sequel I will eat my fucking foot. I'd love to see it, but that was some underhanded false-hope right there.

I believe the ending was partly here to screw with you, much like the ending of No More Heroes (when Sylvia says there won't be a sequel right after (or before ?) a "To Be Continued" screen). I mean, Suda loves screwing with our minds.
