Don't worry. After tuesday, I'm forever banishing complex mathematics from my life...for EVER.
After my finite class next year I'm doing this too. I don't think I'll need to know what the sine of 13pi/6 is to figure out how much a bag of chips and a gallon of milk will cost me.

Exactly.

This is why I love the college program I'm going into. NO math classes at ALL! :awesome:

It's one-half.

Little known fact: Understanding the concepts referenced in xkcd does not make the comics funnier. It just makes you feel sad. Unless they're talking about Mario Kart.

I still have one more year of Highschool before I can graduate. I like most of my classes for next year, except I got stuck in this housing course (like where you do furniture and design, I hate it already) but all in all next year looks to be fun.

This thread right here explains why I have been missing... well, for the most part... It doesn't talk about the part with the giant robot dinosaur war, but thats a story for another time.

Also, College prep sucks. :(

yeah, so i'll be a senior in high school this year. woohoo.

and i don't see what the big deal is with everyone complaining about math. i mean, come on, its one of the few subjects where no matter how many times you do a problem the answer is always the same. I NEED THAT KIND OF SECURITY IN MY LIFE, DAMMIT! also, to put salt on the wound, i got my grades from school today, opened them up and saw this: calculus - final grade - 100 (or an A+, i don't know how you peoples grading systems work.)

It rarely is, for the people who don't like maths.
Myself, I love it, because it's more problem-solving and less learn-it-off-yourself.
