well, I didn't hate the other styles, it's just that the WW style was the one I liked most, is all. though for the design of the 2D sprites my favorite style is LA/OoA/OoS because I thought those sprites were nice looking for some reason.

I love the Wind Waker style, it's a very wonderful style and fun to look at. But I think they should change it up now.

It's been used in 6 games (3 legends) so far and I don't like that.

I'm a fan of different art styles in Zelda. Each game and its sequel usually gets its own art style and that stopped with Wind Waker. I have no idea why.

I'm tired of seeing the same short and cute Link all the time.

Hopefully the art style will change now that they've figured out how to do good looking 3D on the DS.
Another one of my hopes is that they don't use the Twilight Princess style on all the future console Zelda games. I'm seriously doubting that though because this doesn't look like a sequel. Link laid the Master Sword to rest at the end of the game after all and I don't think he would need it again 'cause it's used specifically for Ganon.

6 games? Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks... Minish Cap, Four Swords, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl?

Brawl doesn't count. Minish Cap and Four Swords are sprite based, so they barely count either. Phantom Hourglass is a direct sequel from Wind Waker, so that doesn't count.

Spirit Tracks counts though

By that logic it doesn't.

Seeing as it still has the same characters, Niko, a picture of Tetra etc. It needs to be in the same style.

Personally, I think everything directly related to Wind Waker should be in it's style. The rest can just be OoT/MM/TP/Other-styled.

I hadn't thought of that

Just seems like every zelda is "100 years later" and yet technology never advances, and there's a whole new art style every time.

But I guess Niko breaks the 100 years thing

Sailboat --> Steamboat

No trains --> Trains

Nigger what are you talking about.

I don't know about you, but I see Steamboats as an advancment over Sailboats.

And I think a train could outrun a horse.

IIRC WindWaker is at least 1,000 years after Ocarina of Time, and is also a seperate timeline to Twilight Princess.

Ocarina of Time -> Twilight Princess = Nop

Ocarina of Time -> Wind Waker = Yop
