After nightfall, while they gathered 'round the fire, two strangers arrived.
Quote:
Hello, good gentlemen! You seem to be of the interesting type, now what are you doing in mountains like these?
While initially shocked, Peter recovered and told him, deciding it would be best to leave out details of Torizo's capture, since these people might happen to be their enemies.
Quote:
We are seeking out dragon's cave. Though I must say, we haven't found a trace of it since we started.
The stranger seemed pleased by this, and continued.
Quote:
Well, as it so happens, my friend here knows his way around here quite well, and we are willing to guide you through free of charge. It is our duty to help those in need, else my name isn't Sir Gigsalot!
Peter glanced towards Squigzog and Deiotheus, all three wondering if these odd characters could be trusted.
Quote:
And why would you be so interested in helping us out? What do you get out of this?
This surprised the knight, but after a moment of thought, he answered.
Quote:
You, no doubt, came from the ball at Lady Torizo's castle, did you not?
The other three nodded in affirmation. And with a pleasant smile on his face, Sir Gigsalot continued.
Quote:
Well, being the honorable knight I am, I could never show up uninvited, but if I were to come after assisting you, I could have the pleasure of running into an old friend of mine...
UGH. I had to redo half of this thing after my computer crashed, and got lazy towards the end.
@My group: Tell me if there's anything I need to change about your appearances for the next time I update.
@Trygve: I don't know if you've planned out a story, so I only made a minimal background on your part. I hope I didn't mess anything up.
