Sitting here, thinking (this actually was birthed from a discussion about Banjo-Kazooie 3 I was having), I got wondering, what game would benifit, and preform the best, from being Nemesis Formula. Now, let me explain myself here. (This is something I came up with.)
Nemesis Formula is the act of taking a normally light hearted, whimsical, and hilarious video game, and making it dark, twisted, morbid, bloody, and dramatic. This stems from the game Zork: Nemesis (which you should play, it's pretty good.). Zork in general is very whimsical with comedy and sillyness about, colorful and pop flyin' and what not. By the end of the Zork Game era, Activision had created Zork: Nemesis, a graphical Zork game that took place in the Zork universe, but was much more somber and darker in contrast to other Zork's.
So, what game that fits this bill do you think this needs to be done to? And yes, I am aware Nintendo pulled this off with Advance Wars, but I said PREFORM THE BEST, as in storyline too, and DoR's story was taken right out of the big book of cliche'd story lines.
