Okay, I thought this solution might help with my problems on my Windows 2000, so I tried it and it updated correctly (YES).

However, this computer likes to make me jump through way more hoops than just one in order to get something to work. I have a different problem now. When I hit "start" after it finishes updated, it just closes out. WHAT DO I DO?

I ACTUALLY LEARNED HOW TO WORK THIS GAME.

Oh man it is not soloable. I tried to go the forest by myself. Thank God for running behind the barrier.

Also, I'm Itali the lady android ranger now, instead of DarkSun. Team works too, so it'd be nice to play with y'all sometime. Especially since I know what I'm doing.

And thanks again for helping earlier, guys. Sorry for being such a hassle.

If you wanna play solo, the Battle Training side-quest (only available in one-player mode) gives you a Level 35 AI ally that follows you around, but only attacks monsters that get close to you.
