Saw Avatar. The 3-D show was completely full (even though we had fucking tickets wtf), so we had to exchange it and go see the normal movie. It was still pretty unique. I wish they would have like, explained some things...Why are all animals predominantly blue, what benefit does this afford to them? How are those mountains floating? How is the air very poisonous. Obviously there is oxygen if there are plants, I just want to know.
Also it had good morals I guess. Even though it was written like fifteen years ago, good to see the same critique applies to America. I GET IT, WE'RE MILITARISTIC AIRHEADS THAT KILL NATURE AND CULTURE. Then there was the other moral, which basically says
If you're unhappy with yourself, obviously becoming your digital alter-ego will solve all of your problems.
Whatevs, guess I gotta go see Princess and the Frog.
I went to see it in 3D and it was amazing. We had a similar problem to yours - we were going to go see it at 3 but when we were buying the tickets they sold out so we needed to go see the one at half 4 (which was packed too). I liked how rather than showing spears thrust into your' face they did it more subtly i.e. they used it to make it look as if the mountains in the background
were really behind them and to show distance which I thought was really cool.
