Not exactly bad voice acting, as they're meant to be sniveling little bottom feeders. But goddamn they are weird.

Everyone knows about spess mehrens and metal bawkses so there's no point mentioning there.

Honestly the only thing they're good for is running them up against turrets and massive defenses while the marines are doing the real damage.

By "strange", does it necessarily have to be bad or can it be voice-acting that is really awesome for some reason even though it really seems like it should be bad?

It only has to be wierd, weather it's bad or good doesn't matter, as long as you find it strange in general.
