Good point, but I do still say it might be some cool music for a big, lively city. You can't hear it? I guess my music is just too lively. I dunno.

If you guys like it enough for it to have a website. I'll probably put it on the same site as my webcomic.

Alrighty, will do when I'm done with the secret santa thing.

Also, Where should I put this music?

It's awesome music but I have no idea where in the game it should go!

Maybe the Water Elemental city?

It sounds like an opening theme, to be honest. You thinking of having a cinematic opening or something, maybe? Perhaps just the intro? I dunno. It does have this... water feel to it, though. Pretty light and upbeat.

I wonder if I could put it in the window that opens the game? Like the cool music they put at the game-opener-window of Wonderland.

If I can get paperdolling to work for me, a lot of people have had trouble with it.

There are three types of Goblins. The workers who build and maintain everything. The fighters who, well, fight. And other which are the merchants/diplomats/civilians/rulers.
They are organized through color
Fighters are a tan-ish brown.
workers are a deep brown.
everything else is a vibrant green.

They are born with it.

Sounds great. So like, Tan goblins are the playable ones? That sounds about right to me anyway.

I promise after I'm done with the Secret Santa I'll start working on sprites. I'm exited too! I'm exited about my own game. Wow!

Okay.

It all starts out when the Elementals go out to explore their own world- before this, they were completely unaware of the Goblin race. After the discovery of this intriguing peoples, they began deal weapons to the Earth and Fire Elementals, for no given reason. Hence, the Water and Air Elementals get suspicious of this- just recently, Sky City's President's Daughter fell into a hole between the inter-dimensional wall between Elentis and an alternate Earth. While this girl is now safe, the Air Elementals were out to figure out what was causing the holes in the wall and try to fix them, if possible.

So, the Goblins seemed rather suspicious, and their normal brothers even moreso.
It turns out that the Goblins were summoning these beasts (Basically Eldrich Abominations) for these weapons, and the beasts were tearing holes in the interdimensional wall.

They have figured out that they need the anthromophizations of 27 Essences (subsections of the Elements) and 5 Elements in order to fix the wall. Levatia (The girl who fell into the hole) is one of the Essences.

Can you work with that?

I was just listening to the SNES Secret of Mana music that was linked when reading that and it was awesome.

You could have a scrolling text plot summary intro for this in the style of the Famicom Secret of Mana. (Also known as Seiken Densetsu 3)
Or like Star Sars.

And Eldritch Abominations for a plot point? That's like hitting the tire fire with flaming garbage.
If those things are involved then we have to fight them, which means final boss grade stuff.

I don't know if I want to have to code that. Or even if I COULD do that....

Exactly.

I have figured out the bosses. You'll have to fight multiple spread throughout the later parts of the game, ending with the strongest.

Everything is falling together. All the pieces of the puzzle are forming themselves.

And it is awesome, and I must thank you all again.

Unless there's maybe a sort of rival/opposing group/something-or-other involved which could serve as some sort of boss after the boss?

The goblins?
They're just using them to get weapons though, they probably don't know the danger of what they're doing.

I've never been that good at writing conflict.

Well Goblins are usually pretty stupid, so they'd probably be doing something wrong in the deal.

Idea: The Goblins are powering the weapons by siphoning energy from the Abomination's magic prison. Every weapon they make, the seal gets weaker.

Buy how will the final bosses LOOK?
Tentacles are the staple for the EAs, but Lavos doesn't have tentacles and pulls off the look whereas C'thun is almost all tentacles.

You guys are great at this. A new barrel of ideas a day, it seems.

Again, thank you for all your help. I'm thanking you every other post, it seems, but they're all quite honest. I just have a lot of gratitude.

Also, tentacles are a bit cliche'd. I think there should be about six or so, each relating to an Element. (The extra one has no element!)

This works even in the comic.

You are all amazing.
