I was hopeful, then terribly disappointed. I hope she can get more of a groove back than this. I could harly even smile at this. Cute attempt, and I know what and where she's coming from, it's just... sad.

I think this is just because the wait for Brawl is killin gus all... only a few more days... then it will be back, and she'll be funny again.

Not exactly pompous. I love her comics, it's just been unfunny lately. I think she gets that. We're all rubbing our temples hoping for Brawl. If I was pompous, I wouldn't be posting, now, would I?

I'm not rubbing my temples for Brawl. Even if I were to rub them, it would be because of you.

You're saying her comics have been "unfunny" lately and she's in a "slump" like you're some camp counselor who can justify playing three chords on a guitar as grounds for a campfire sing along.

You could just say, "I dislike this comic", not "It's unfunny, therefore Katie must have hit a slump".
