And I'm fucking sick and tired of mute characters. There isn't even that much expansion done on Link's character, anyway. I could've accepted it when it was still your pixelated vigilante, but what do they do now? Oh, you're in a village, oh you're a magical little urchin. That's it.

The very plot is so mundane, apart from different characters along the line to make each game feel different, there isn't that much between one and another.

Gah, whatever the reason, I just don't like the Zelda franchise, or really anything. Actually I think some of my points were pretty bad, but whatever, if I hate something I tend to steer clear of it.

You will never get a first hand perspective of it then, and you will continue to hate it without having a good reason to.

I'm the same way with Halo, for a similar reason. My ex decided to make fun of Metroid all the time and talk about it was "a Halo ripoff". I RAEG'd.

Halo 3 is one of those games where hitting someone with your gun does more damage than actually shooting them.
