Never really liked Toad.

I've never discovered a reason to like them.

They're all assholes.

That last image... I don't even know what happened.

Wait, how can Toad and Also Toad be Toad and Also Toad if normally Toad has red dots?

So I went to the New Super Mario Bros. Wii launch at the Nintendo World Store today. It was awesome, except for the pouring rain.

And the game is fantastic.

I agree.
Sometimes, the Koopas will pause and do a little dance for some reason.

I froze them on top of a spinning wheel, and they died for their incompetence as minor villains.

I just got New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story for my birthday. I think it's alright, I just beat Roy for the first time. However, I really don't like how you have to shake the Wii Remote to Spin jump, and I really REALLY don't like how you have to press1 AND shake the Wii Remote to pick up stuff. Why can't it just be 1? Why do I also have to shake the Wii Remote? Seriously!

Also, if there's anything I learned form playing this game, it's how out of practice I am at playing platformers, because I keep dying in the first few parts of the game. Lucky for me, 1-ups are as easy to get here as they are in Super Mario Galaxy... Well, maybe not that easy, like they're not just sitting in easy to reach places, and there isn't a purple Toad giving you 5 extra 1-ups every time you start the game, but still, pretty easy to get 1-ups.

And a good thing too.

I lost the back of the remote which holds the batteries in place, so there's been a couple battery related deaths after shaking the Wii remote a little bit too hard.
Like during the 2nd fight with Bowser Jr. where you have to push his little clowncraft of doom into the electric walls.
Here's some interesting info I just found out.

1.) The Blue and Yellow Toads had nicknames given by the development team during the production of this game. According to this article:

http://www.destructoid.com/nsmb-wii-rel ... 5242.phtml

Their nicknames are "Bucken-Berry" (for the Blue Toad) and Ala-Gold (for the Yellow one).

2.) Here are the voices actors for the Koopalings:

Iggy Koopa and Ludwig von Koopa: Mike Vaughn
Larry Koopa, Lemmy Koopa, Wendy O. Koopa, and Morton Koopa Jr.: Lani Minella
Roy Koopa: Dan Falcone

Mike Vaughn's other roles include:

Dungeon Siege II - Champion Rahvan
Eminent Domain - Animal Control Worker
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - Maryman - Talk Radio
New Super Mario Bros. Wii - Iggy Koopa and Ludwig von Koopa.
Resistance 2 - Zombie #3
Runaway 2: Dream of the Turtle - Pirate #1, Uno
Spellforce 2: Shadow Wars - Riddengard, Satras, Shaaikan 1, Soul 3
Spider-Man: Web of Shadows - Spider-Man
State of Emergency 2 - Freak, MacNeil, Mallrat
The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar - Sandar/Chef Vraz/Warg Rider Goblin
WALL·E - In-Game Voice

Lani Minella is Rouge the Bat's old voice actress. She also voiced Pit and Lucas in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Dan Falcone is unknown.
