I'm confused why you had to emphasize on Anthopomorphic.
Even if she has human qualities, she's still an animal.

Why don't you actually go READ the comic? Sex happens or is heavily implied, to the point where they get the main character SPAYED. This is by no means an anthropomorphic animal, this is just a DOG that speaks.

And how the fuck did we end up back on Dominic Deegan? A lot of us hate that comic, apparently some people don't (I don't understand why) and I thought we all agreed to drop the bitchfest. I need to redirect this conversation, STAT.

Here, let's discuss After Eden. Image

Pretentious religious webcomics.
I'll admit, there were some jokes I saw from this comic that got a small smile or giggle from me.
But I've never been a fan of religious comics that act so "high and mighty and better than another belief".

All fields of science are clearly the same, and thus, unreliable.

After Eden is irritatingly biased, but Faithmouse is bodaciously too insane to be understood. There are clearly religious themes, but the message is incomprehensible. It might not exist at all.

..In fact, right now his website has a gallery devoted almost exclusively to paintings of Obama (naked, no less) and a unicorn, in various arrangements. There's more than twenty of these.

Eff you, he's got a flipping religion-mobile! I haven't seen those things since Spore!

Also, just reading it there, After Eden... actually looks reasonably entertaining! Sure, it could be because I just read a few of the strips, but the actual propaganda genuinely is kept to a minimum! Unlike pretty much all the other religion comics, it's focused on actually entertaining religious people as opposed to trying to point out the flaws of evolution!

Prefaced by seeing her just sneak into his bed to sleep, and succeeded by her saying "It was a high cost for a facebattle"? Yeah, no.

A dog that speaks... and walks on its hind legs... and has human eyes... and human emotions...

Doesn't make it human though.

Regardless of her human qualities, she is still biologically a dog.

I didn't say it was human, I said it was anthropomorphic.

...wait, why are we even discussing it? Regardless of what it is, thinking of it as wrong is completely undermining the entire point of the metaphor!

INDEED.

MORAL OF THE STORY. IS IT LOVE IF AN ANIMAL SUDDENLY IS MORE HUMAN LIKE THAT CAN MAKE ANOTHER HUMAN FALL IN LOVE WITH THEM?
IF SO, IS IT BAD BECAUSE THEY AREN'T HUMAN?

I'm trying to sum up what the main metaphor my friend told me of that story arc in Raine dog was.

I'm not sure if we're right or we completely missed the point or I just worded it badly.

The days it says the earth was created could be longer than it says it was, hey to god maybe 1 day to him is 3 million years to us. It never says. Time to evolve, time to create everything.

(note that I'm only in elementary school so I can't explain this very well)

Edit: to above, daisies you.
