I like xkcd because its clever, its funny, and its geeky. It's not a complicated thing to understand. You're just putting to much thought into something really simple. Just shut up and enjoy something, Plasma.

See, this comic actually makes me kind of sad inside which is exactly why XKCD is a great comic. The comic isn't always funny, but it drives a very good point with minimalistic style.

The thing about xkcd with me is, i get most of the jokes, but.. I just don't find them lame. I read them and i'm like "..Yeah, okay."


It gets irritating because my friend keeps making me read them, and he gets rustled if i don't laugh.

"Oh come on! Don't you get it?"
"Yeah."
"Well..??"
"Yeah, i get it. So?"

I was making a joke - I did read the posts.

I liked very few of the strips. Most of them, I felt like Plasma - like I was missing some kind of grand joke I could only get if I knew the subject matter. It turned out the joke just wasn't very funny in that particular strip and I had fooled myself into thinking I was at fault because everyone else was busy guffawing and I wanted to fit in. :/
