Seconded. Having a Pokemon LetsPlay where you just... get Pokemon whenever you want, rather than formulating a team with what you have, is not a good LetsPlay.

The only exception is when the Pokemon is some sort of novelty Pokemon, and the only reason you'd use it is to make things more interesting.

Well, the small Pokesprite has changed.


...Is that a ditto...?
This can only mean one thing.
Missingno was meant to be the ditto, but the developers scrapped it because they couldn't get the transformation correct. In the end, it was hidden away, and is found because when you see the Old Man capture Weedle, the hex values have to be changed so your sprite and name are temporarily changed to OLD MAN. Cinnabar might have a similar hex value to Ditto, so when you go there, the game remembers your last battle as you being named "OLD MAN", and the hex values create the old ditto, Missingno.
Or that's a theory, Missingno's cry is random each time.
